Building REPORTs

Putting your mind at ease, the easy way

Building reports don’t need to be complicated.

Whether you’re about to buy a new home, extend and renovate your existing home, or have decided to put one up for rent, knowing the building is safe and sure before you do so is a non-negotiable. We’re not just talking about residential homes either, the same goes for offices, work sites and public spaces.

In keeping with our personalised, streamlined, no fuss approach to communication and focus on quality craftsmanship, we keep your report simple, straightforward, and easy to read – all the information you need, none of the nonsense you don’t.

Pre-purchase building inspection

Carried out in accordance with AS (Australian Standard) 4349 requirements, a pre-purchase inspection is a visual inspection of all elements of the building. We’ll identify any possible structural defects, major non-structural defects, minor defects and any maintenance or remedial works that may be required in the near future.

Property condition report

An important aspect of any residential tenancy agreement, a property condition report outlines the existing conditions of the property prior to tenancy. At the end of a tenancy period, a second report will uncover any discrepancies in the property’s condition from the initial inspection.

Dilapidation report

A dilapidation report is an extensive inspection most often conducted prior to any major building or demolition works. Formal documentation will compare possible defects before and after works have been completed and prevent any potential conflicts.

Roof and ceiling report

Another visual only inspection report carried out in accordance with AS 4349 requirements, a roof and ceiling report covers safety concerns and potential hazards. A general impression of the existing condition of the roof and ceiling elements and the extent of any defects will be detailed.

Non-friable ACM inspection report

As a Restricted ACM (Asbestos Containing Materials) licence holder, we can conduct a visual inspection and advise if the property in question poses any risk of asbestos exposure. A visual inspection isn’t 100% conclusive, so if we do find something, we’ll always recommend and arrange further testing for you.

Trip hazard inspection and report

A common, dangerous and preventable risk on many sites, a trip hazard inspection includes findings, photos and recommendations for the best course of action to either reduce or eliminate this hazard entirely – ensuring your people are as safe as possible on site.
