Effective Building Group were engaged by the Department of Education to refurbish the reception and special needs safe play areas of Burbridge School, Koondoola. With the school open and operating as normal, due diligence and consideration were paid to staff and students to limit any interference.

The refurbishment consisted of:

• Demolition of existing door and windows, pool fencing and matting
• Floor covering to the administration area and supply and install of new softfall rubber floor covering to safe play area
• Construction of a dividing wall between the reception and hallway with
  two automatic electric doors
• Supply and install of a new aluminium and glazed shopfront with automated double doors
• Window tinting and vinyl signage to new shopfront
• Reinstatement of water fountain
• Painting of brickwork and ceiling
• Supply and install of new custom perimeter fencing
